SALARY:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director Employee &
Labor Relations, provide
support and counsel on all labor related activities, including, but not
limited to negotiations, union avoidance, labor strategy, grievances, etc.

Act as liaison between the Company
and union leadership for resolution of union grievances through all
steps of the grievance process.

Interpret, communicate and ensure
compliance with the current collective bargaining agreement.

Coordinate and prepare for all
negotiation activities and serve on the Company negotiating team.
Analyze data and make recommendations for contract negotiation points.

Provide guidance to HR team members
or management relative to contract interpretation. Align with HR team
members on issues that overlap functions.

Lead effort to maintain a non-union
environment in the remainder of the Company.

Coordinate with outside legal counsel
on grievances, negotiations or other issues that arise.

Manage projects. Work with Director
Employee & Labor Relations, or others on a variety of projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors
degree required.

Minimum
5 years experience in HR/labor relations, with extensive knowledge
of labor and employment laws.

Strong
leadership skills and experience creating union avoidance strategies.

Must have
excellent problem solving skills and conflict management skills.

Union
operating experience and familiarity with the collective bargaining
grievance process, problem resolution, and experience in union contract
negotiations are a must.

Microsoft
Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with Lotus Notes a plus.
